The U.S. Army has identified Capt. Rebecca M. Lobach, 32, of Durham, North Carolina, as the pilot of the Black Hawk helicopter that collided mid-air with an American Airlines flight, killing 67 people in one of the deadliest air disasters in decades. <br /> <br />Lobach, assigned to the 12th Aviation Battalion at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, had served since July 2019 and was a highly skilled pilot with over 450 flight hours.
